[/b] Just starting out. You are in the business and don't have much status.
STARS
Stars are Wanna Be's measure of popularity. You gain stars by participating in various events around the site! Your stars also measure your rank-- Rookie, Well-Known, Celebrity, or World Star. Stars are given out by the staff. Unfortunately, you can only earn stars if you are a celebrity (Musician/Actor). The way Wanna Be's star system is set up is so that you can start from the bottom and work your way up, just as a real celebrity would. Everybody starts from scratch.
RANKS
WELL KNOWN: You're known around South Korea, just another individual in the sea of idols.
CELEBRITY: All of Asia knows who you are! You're very likely taking trips around Asia to preform and raise even more status!
WORLD STAR: World stars are known all around the world (obviously) from Asia to Europe to America to South America and even to Antarctica! You have made it to the big time, my friend![/ul]
INDIVIDUAL VS. GROUP STARS
Groups are rewarded stars if 2 or more people participate in an event (such as a magazine, television show, etc.) or release a group album. Groups of three or more are ranked like this:
Individuals gain stars if they are the only ones participating in events and things. Individuals are ranked as such:
HOW DO I EARN STARS?
Here is a list of the current ways to earn stars:
BEING INTERVIEWED - 10 STARS -At events and things, there are likely to be paparazzi hanging around, by being interviewed or choosing to be interviewed, you receive stars!
TELEVISION & RADIO SHOWS - 30 STARS - By appearing in television shows, you raise popularity for your idol group and also yourself. Shows include: talk shows, variety television, and various other shows.
DRAMAS - 40 STARS - Dramas are a great way to become more popular, they also improve your acting experience.
EMBLEM CHARTS - See Here - You receive points for being featured in the Emblem Charts as well!
RELEASING A SONG - 5/10 STARS - If your entire group is performing the song, then the entire group receives 10 stars, if it is just you or a few people, then those individuals receive 5 stars.
RELEASING A MINI-ALBUM - 35 STARS - Not quite as many songs, but still gives you a healthy amount of fame!
FEATURING IN A MUSIC VIDEO - 10 STARS - Be the girl or guy an artist sings to, you don't really do any singing at all--you're just there to look pretty and maybe help draw some attention to the singer and yourself.
RELEASING AN ALBUM - 50 STARS - An album obviously has many songs and require more effort and skill to create.
